AR/VR/MR Maintenance and Training Solutions

Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR) and Mixed Reality (MR) have created opportunities to revolutionize how trainings and operations are carried out for maintenance, repair and overhaul with step-by-step animated visual instructions overlaid on top of physical industrial equipment or human body for medical training.

Over the years, SVS has developed numerous software applications using AR/VR/MR technologies for clients in the U.S. government including Army, Navy, and Air Force, USUHS, and Defense Health Agency, and industries including GE Aerospace, GE Vernova, Pfizer, and Intel.

SVS solution combines object/image recognition, overlaid animated instructions on top of physical objects with video/audio/text guidance on iOS/Android mobile devices or AR headset with AI-driven voice navigation, which allows the technicians to operate tools or instruments with their hands.

Power Generator Digital Twins on AR Device for Troubleshooting, Repair and Maintenance

GE DT 3_edited_edited_edited.jpg

SVS Developed digital twins of power generators and seven AR software applications on Microsoft HoloLens AR headset for GE Digital Electricity Value Network by augmenting the physical sandbox with scenarios for power plant troubleshooting, maintenance and repair. The solution demonstrated GE's solutions over nine types of power generators. After the solution was presented in Berlin, Germany, see video below on the left, SVS also developed a virtual sandbox for portability of the solution, see video below on the right.
